- This enterprising Engineer lives, eats and sleeps in his engines but thankfully bathes in the regular showers like the rest of the crew. "Finchee" as he's affectionately called holds the Confederation Time Record for stripping a Hyper-Coil to spare parts and rebuilding it with the fewest extra bits laying about - JUST DON'T START THE MACHINE UP UNTIL ITS BEEN BENCH TESTED!

Xavier is apparently the only Science Officer in the Fleet who has no alien blood in him, he's not even at least part hy-brid Alien! It doesn't stop him from being one of the best Science Officer's in the Fleet though. It doesn't help him, but it doesn't stop him either.
