GIRNEY, Melbourne Anne Born September 29, 2200 in Melbourne, Victoria State, Australia to Thomas Allan Girney and Sydney Eve Hehner during a visit with family there. Raised in Adelaide (birth to age 15); Woomera (age 15 to 19); AIET Campus, Gympie, Queensland State, Australia (19 to 23); Cold Lake Proving Grounds, Cold Lake, Alberta, Westcan (23 to 26); Lagrainge STATION THREE (26 to 29); Additional residences include: STELLAR 20 / Number 8 (UNSA TRINITY); STATION EIGHT; BPC VISCEPIA; UAC STARBENDER; UAC INDEPENDENCE; UAC EXPLORER. Graduate of the NSWales Flight School with a Master's Certificate in High Speed Single Engine craft; Valedictorian Emeritus of NSWales Flight School ENGINEERING Program; M.Eng in Advanced Theoretical Propulsion Mechanics from the Australian Institute of Engineering Technology; UNSA Station Three Basic Offensive Ops course; and UA School of Engineering TRANS-Driver Academy-refresher Course; earned Emeritus Degree in Pro-Tach Engineering through UASE Field Course. Melbourne (MEL) Girney is the lone child of Thomas and Sydney who both had a strong influence on Melbourne's career / life goals. Mel is a determined, smart individual, a quick study with an eye for detail, a near intuitive understanding of Physics and Phase mechanics and a quick improvisational mechanic.

CAREER HISTORY: Junior Engineer of Advanced Driver Program, Cold Lake Proving Ground, Alberta, Westcan During this time developed core to SHINDAR ONE Driver (now referred to as MEL-Mark One); Transferred to STATION THREE, 655 Squadron as TEAM ENGINEER following conflict with ADP Leader Doctor SHINDAR; TEAM ENGINEER / 2nd WING pilot, original 655 Squadron; Chief Engineer on RIGEL THREE during its 655 tenure; Team Engineer / Pilot back-up STELLAR 20, Number 6 (2229-2251 TSC) on the vessel TRINITY; Engineer for 655 Squadron Escourt Detail during re-commissioning trials; Engineer's Mate 1st class BPC VISCEPIA; GIRNEY earned a STAR COMMAND commission thanks to the sponsorship of Robert MacMANUS and came on board the TEAM E of UAC STARBENDER and the RIJL FOUR Light Cruiser as Pro-Tach rated TEAM ENGINEER. GIRNEY was made ENGINEERING LIASON for UAC STARBENDER during parts of 2256. Assigned to ENGINEERING Department on arrival to the INDEPENDENCE Battle Group. Chief Engineer UAC EXPLORER during Shadow Fleet Crisis. ADDITIONAL: Before transferring to the 655 Squadron and joining the STELLAR 20 program MEL will distinguish herself as an engineering prodigy in the field of theoretical propulsion. Her design for the BOOMERANG Faster than Light Driver was proven co-opted by Doctor SHINDAR for the project and she has been given retro-active credit for the creation of a Driver that is now termed MEL-MARK One. On her return from the Stellar 20 and while earning Emeritus Degree in Pro-Tach Engineering through UASE Field Course MEL improved the design creating the MEL-MARK Two which was immediately purchased by RIJL Aerospace for incorporation into it's Pro-Tach Driver assembly. PSYCHOLOGICAL BACKGROUND / HISTROICAL: MEL is best known for her inability to work and play well with bureaucratic types and is reknown for reporting to duty naked for days on end to make a point. Although extremely liberal and comfortable with herself Mel does manifest the "New Power" attributes of a modern Matris which indicates, either through her cultural background or in other factors an insecurity shrouded in bravado. When not concentrating on a specific task Mel is usually relaxed, easy going and satisfied but her mind will occassionally run wild resulting in traits only emphasized by her wild flowing hair, her Australian sized mischievous streak and her extremely aggressive sexual habits.
