A bold advances gives Earth the advantage, but can the powers that be keep their eye on the prize?

SYNOPSIS:

The assault is at a stalemate when Earth forces are unable to land breach craft on Mars because of a weapon firing from within the target facility.
MacMANUS pushes his luck in a bold attempt to give them foot-hold, but those within have their own plan to avoid capture.
Later, repeated attempts by COMMAND to break the captured system are by-passed when MacMANUS links RAEB directly to the MEG System.
With the information gleaned COMMAND announces phase one of the RIMBEY PLAN, the STELLAR 20, and MacManus learns the cost of doing a job too well.
