In the hastily launched EXPLORER Starship MacMANUS and crew rush to intercept INDEPENDENCE before it can cross into MEG Space on a rampage for their homeworld. Intended commander, now Executive Officer HOWIE is less than helpful challenging MacMANUS at every turn. EXPLORER has its first chance to show what it can do when the Dreadnaught DAMOCLESE breaks through it’s intercept and EXPLORER is the only one that can stop it, or can it?
