WHY AREN'T YOU MORE ANGRY, CANADA?

We live in a time when social media is allowing street level people around the world to effect change it used to take an army and a revolution to do. Just because our power is on, our water runs, doesn't mean we shouldn't exercise the same power.

The idea that the 1% can do what they want is only true if we allow it. 70% of Canadians who lost employment in 2009 are either under employed, under paid or dealing with severe cuts to benefits. During that same time the bonuses, pay and value of the 1% has doubled. Too much of this continent's wealth is rapidly shifting from you to them (I guarantee you that if YOU were THEM you wouldn't be reading this because we wouldn't be friends).

The so called CPP crisis is artificial. Currently there's a cap on deductions that only apply to the rich, so if you're making too much money you won't pay more into CPP than someone barely making ends meet. Show me another insurance plan that caps what the rich put in? Remove that cap and without any other change the Canada Pension Plan slips into surplus within a year. So why isn't that done? Because the party in charge gets more donations from rich individuals than ALL OTHER PARTIES COMBINED.

Yet, Obama beat the Billionaire's choice in 2012 by collecting $20 from every supporter. Those $20's added up to more than Romney's Billionaires were giving, because there's far more in the 99% than in the 1%.

USE THAT POWER PEOPLE. Before the 1% finds a way to quiet you forever.
